Faith

Last night, after the show got out, I was in a bit of a funk. I had realized that I have only a week left here in Winchester. At that time, I will have to say goodbye to some truly wonderful people and the farm where I work, and I will begin the next chapter of my life. In my last post, I mentioned that I wasn't going to miss Winchester much, because it has always felt so temporary. That is true, to a point, but I didn't take into consideration the friends I have made here. And, I know it's going to be hard to say goodbye to the horses, especially Faith and Symphony. Still, the main reason I was upset last night is because I have absolutely no idea what the future will hold. I have no job, no job prospect, and only a vague idea of what I want to do with my life. This is quite possibly the scariest time in my life. But, I realized last night that it is also the most exciting. I am about to start a whole new chapter of my life. And, I already have all I need: a family who loves me, confidence in myself, and my faith. God and I had quite the heart-to-heart. I still have no idea what He wants me to do with my life. But, I know He heard me, and I have faith that the answers will come. So, in the meantime, I am going to enjoy every moment of this last week here. Look out world, here I come.
